Our Worship
Covenant Renewal Worship
Throughout the Scriptures, we find that God's people worship according to a pattern. We call this pattern Covenant Renewal Worship, and we organize our liturgy accordingly:
Call: We begin the Lord's Service by corporately responding to God's call of ascension and worship.
Confession: We corporately confess our sins before God, who is just and holy.
Consecration: We then submit ourselves to the Word of God, being consecrated by the sword of His Spirit.
Communion: this is the climax of our worship wherein we commune with Christ and one another, as we recieve his body and blood at the Lord's Table. All who have been baptized into Christ Jesus are welcome to partake of the sacred meal.
Commission: We conclude our worship with a commissioning for the week ahead. In Christ Jesus, the Church has been blessed to be a blessing unto all peoples. Therefore, the pastor commissions the congregants with a holy benediction.
The entirety of our liturgy is rich and participatory, including our singing. This is intentional. We sing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs that you may or may not be familiar with.
In order to help train ourselves and to serve those who are visiting, we recommend using the "Sing Your Part!" app. Simply download the app using the link below, find our church listing, and you can then practice the song selection for each Lord's Day service.
